Actually I was wrong to assume my Mom put Fifi down, in reality she actually died in her sleep. That makes me feel a little better to know that old age just took her and not some medical issues. I still feel a little bad I wasn't there to give her one last kiss, but she is in doggie heaven. I want to post this favorite poem my family uses when our loved ones(animals) pass..
